About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team at GCS Associates. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales management within the building materials or construction sector, with a particular emphasis on house builders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets within regional and national house builders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients within the house building sector.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive market share growth.
  • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and regular performance reports.
  • Collaborate with marketing, internal sales, and customer service teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in sales management within the building materials or construction sector, with a particular emphasis on house builders.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Commercially astute with a deep understanding of market dynamics.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned region as required.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven experience within the building materials sector.
