Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Home Director to manage a children's residential care home that specializes in support for children and young people with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD). The home is a 4-bedded children's home, rated GOOD by Ofsted.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the safe running and operation of the children's residential care home, ensuring the well-being and safety of all young people.
  • Develop and implement bespoke care plans for each young person, in collaboration with the Residential Team.
  • Lead and manage a team of residential staff, including Deputies, Team Leaders, and Support Workers.
  • Ensure the service meets Ofsted standards and regulations.
  • Manage the recruitment and staffing process, ensuring the team is adequately trained and equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Work closely with the Senior Management Team to ensure the service implements company policies and procedures.
  • Manage quality assurance and budgeting for the service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing a children's residential care home or similar setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and standards for children's residential care homes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and services.
