About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our Security team at our Howden site. This is a 12-hour, 4 on 4 off shift pattern, rotating between day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough checks of visitors, deliveries, and contractors entering and exiting the site.
  • Act as a visible deterrent, patrolling and securing the site to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Investigate and respond to incidents, including theft, damage, and breaches of site policy.
  • Operate and maintain various security systems, including CCTV, access control, and electrical fencing.
  • Conduct searches of personnel and vehicles as required.
  • Provide advanced first aid and FPOS training, as well as drug and alcohol testing, as needed.
  • Prepare and submit reports on daily operations and any irregularities, escalating to management as necessary.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid SIA/CCTV license.
  • Possess a driving license.
  • Be computer literate.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, commitment, and punctuality.
