Part Time Credit Controller Specialist

At Northampton Business Directory, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part Time Credit Controller to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the credit control processes to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts, maintaining accurate records of all credit control activities, processing sales ledger transactions and ensuring accuracy, performing general administrative duties, including filing and data entry, and assisting with other accounts-related tasks as needed.
We are looking for an individual with previous experience in credit control or a similar client orientated role, who is proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
This part-time opportunity is based in Wellingborough and offers up to £24,500 per annum pro rata. The successful candidate will be required to work 20 hours per week on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Control: Manage the credit control processes to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
- Sales Ledger Transactions: Process sales ledger transactions and ensure accuracy.
- Administrative Duties: Perform general administrative duties, including filing and data entry.
- Supportive Role: Assist with other accounts-related tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in credit control or a similar client orientated role (advantageous but not essential).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Salary: Up to £24,500 per annum pro rata.
Working Hours: 20 hours per week.
