Programme Overview

The Graduate Finance Development Programme is a three-year programme that provides a unique opportunity for recent graduates to develop their skills and knowledge in finance. You will rotate across various financial departments, including Asset Control, Project Cost Control, Corporate Finance, and the Finance Resource Centre (FRC). This will give you exposure to a wide range of finance activities, including formal training sessions, on-the-job development, mentoring, and personal development.

What You Will Gain
  • Develop key capabilities related to Financial and Project Accounting through rotations in these functions.
  • Participate in a wide range of activities, including the month-end cycle, data analysis, financial and management reporting, and supporting the wider finance and operational teams in the management of our business activities.
  • Become proficient in our financial systems and gain experience in wider business processes.
  • Gain deeper insights into key aspects related to Financial and Project Support functions through formal training courses.
  • Be assigned a mentor who will provide guidance and support your progression.
What We Are Looking For
  • A recent graduate educated to degree level in a relevant finance or accountancy-based qualification or working towards completion of a degree in these subjects.
  • Motivation to work towards a recognised Professional Accountancy Qualification, supported by Subsea7.
  • Good IT skills, with ability to work with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • A strong collaborator able to work effectively as part of a large team.
  • A problem solver, anticipating and finding effective solutions to tasks.
  • Great attention to detail, with ability to effectively plan and prioritise workloads to meet tight deadlines.
