Financial Controller

Wealthify is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial support to our business, ensuring accurate and timely financial reports are delivered to our Senior Management team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the month-end process, including balance sheet reconciliations and P&L reporting.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the Senior Leadership Team.
- Develop and implement new processes to improve financial performance and efficiency.
- Lead the Accounts Assistant team and review transactional entries.
- Reconcile and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare accounting data for timely FCA regulatory submissions.
- Manage VAT and payroll, including quarterly VAT returns and monthly payroll reconciliation.
- Facilitate the external audit process and address auditor queries.
- Support finance projects, including expense reporting and tax matters.
- Financial or Management Accountant with experience in managing the month-end process.
- Fully qualified (ACCA/ICAEW/CIMA/ACA).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deliverables.
- Proactive stakeholder management skills.
- Highly numerate and good commercial knowledge/awareness.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Competitive salary of between £38,000 - £42,000.
