Financial Controller

Wealthify is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our Finance Team, you will play a pivotal role in providing support to manage daily operations and month-end activities of the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage key areas of the financial systems and processes to ensure financial information is timely, accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant accounting requirements and company expectations.
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including P&L, Balance sheet, CashFlow, and Control accounts.
- Lead Accounts Assistant and review transactional entries, reconcile and analyse financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare accounting data for timely FCA regulatory submissions and quarterly VAT returns.
- Work closely with Employee Experience team to prepare and execute payroll each month and complete monthly payroll reconciliation and post journals.
- Financial or Management Accountant with experience in managing the month-end process, including balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L reporting.
- Fully qualified (ACCA/ICAEW/CIMA/ACA)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise deliverables, proactive stakeholder management skills, and highly numerate with good commercial knowledge/awareness.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and prioritisation capabilities against concurrent deadlines.
- Competitive salary of between £38,000 - £42,000.
- 24 days' holiday a year, plus bank holidays (you'll earn an extra day holiday for each full year you're with us, up to 28 days).
