About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our integrated, multi-disciplinary therapy team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing therapy services to children, young people, and their families accessing the school.

Job Responsibilities

You will work under the supervision of an experienced Band 6 therapist, developing and applying your clinical skills in delivering hands-on Speech and Language Therapy. This will involve ensuring the provision of a high standard of assessment, treatment, and advice to children, young people, and their families.

Person Specification

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • A recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification or equivalent
  • Registered member of Health Care Professions Council Licence to Practice
  • Registered Member of Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists
  • Evidence of successful completion of specialist short courses up to Masters degree or equivalent
  • NQP level education of paediatric dysphagia and at least an achievement of RCSLT assistant dysphagia practitioner competencies

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

  • Postgraduate training in paediatric dysphagia and achievement of RCSLT foundation or specialist level dysphagia practitioner competencies

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
