Process Equipment Technician

As a Mechanical Fitter at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD, you will play a key role in the assembly and fitting of mechanical components for bespoke process equipment. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.
Main Responsibilities- Control and ownership of mechanical build documentation.
- Assembly and fitting of mechanical components in-line with tight tolerances.
- Collaboration with Electrical / Control engineers to ensure completion of the equipment build.
- Resolution of problems relating to fit, function or design.
- Inspection of Mechanical parts, Main Fabrications and Pressure Vessels at supplier facilities.
- Time served mechanical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
- Experience within a similar role.
- Pressure vessel testing experience is desirable.
- A keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Excellent communication skills are required for successful collaboration.
- The ability to read and understand assembly drawings is crucial.
The estimated annual salary for this position is £35,000-£42,000, depending on experience. Opportunities for overtime may increase the annual salary to £45,000-£50,000.
- 4-day workweek (Monday to Thursday).
- A Monday-Wednesday schedule of 07:30-17:30 and Thursday 07:30-17:00.
