Equipment Maintenance Technician

Sigma is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join its production support team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the efficiency of our equipment and processes. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and develop your skills and expertise.
About the Job
Your key responsibilities will include minimising plant and equipment downtime, modifying and upgrading existing equipment, supporting management in implementing new projects and continuous improvement, and providing a rapid response to breakdowns to maintain operational continuity. To be successful in this role, you will need NVQ level three or above in engineering, an electrical bias, ideally with mechanical skills, and experience with pumps, motors, relays, panels, and lighting.
The Package
A competitive hourly rate of £20.50 - £23 per hour, equivalent to around £40,500 - £45,400 per annum, plus lots of overtime at enhanced rates, make this a highly attractive opportunity. Benefits include a company pension, 150 hours of holiday, plus bank holidays, and the potential for two bonuses per year.
