Job Title: Orthotist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Orthotist Specialist to join our team at Blatchford, a leading manufacturer of advanced prosthetic technology, bespoke seating solutions, and orthotic devices.

This exciting role involves providing high-quality Clinical Orthotic Care to patients with complex conditions, recommending the best course of intervention. You will also support the day-to-day running of our service, ensuring seamless delivery of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting clients with a wide range of complex conditions and recommending the best course of intervention.
  • Communicating effectively with informed patient consent, discussing prescription reasons.
  • Providing advice and support to maximize rehabilitation potential and ensure understanding of condition.
  • Assessing, measuring, casting, fitting, supplying, reviewing, and adjusting orthoses as required.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical notes and records.
  • Delivering training in Orthotics at various levels.
