We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Computing Teacher to join our prestigious secondary school in Durham. This long-term position offers the chance to inspire students and cultivate their understanding of computer science.

The Role:

As a Computing Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional computer science education to students in a supportive secondary school environment.

  1. Planning and delivering engaging Computing lessons that align with the national curriculum
  2. Instilling a love for business through innovative teaching methods and practical applications
  3. Assessing students' progress and providing valuable feedback to support their growth
  4. Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation
  5. Collaborating with fellow Teachers and school staff to enhance teaching resources
Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  1. Proven experience as a Computing Teacher, dedicated to fostering business understanding
  2. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in business
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, colleagues, and parents
  4. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students
  5. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
Salary and Benefits:

Our competitive salary is estimated at £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also enjoy a range of benefits, including opportunities for further training and development, a friendly and supportive working environment, and excellent rates of pay.
