Job Overview:

The Head Gardener will be responsible for leading a team of gardeners and volunteers in maintaining the beauty and integrity of our gardens and estate. The successful candidate will have experience in gardening and horticulture, as well as exceptional leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing a long-term management plan for the gardens
  • Collaborating with the Head of Estates on woodland, tree, and parkland management plans
  • Ensuring the gardens' authenticity to their original OvS design
  • Providing training and guidance to the team

Requirements:

  • Experience in gardening and horticulture
  • Exceptional leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
