Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our sales team at Ritz Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing new relationships, and expanding our existing customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve weekly and monthly visit targets to identify new business opportunities
  • Focus on achieving monthly sales targets while maintaining margin
  • Proactively manage and develop existing accounts to achieve target spend and maintain margin
  • Develop a deep understanding of the sales territory, including geographic areas and potential business opportunities
  • Attend networking and trade events to build relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Plan and prioritize sales activities and customer/prospect contact to achieve agreed business aims
  • Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions
  • Delegate new business leads in a prompt manner, including providing quotations and information
  • Generate quotations and follow up to convert quotations into orders
  • Provide technical sales advice and support to customers and the sales team
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in business development and sales
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel and attend events
