Role Overview:
As a Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within the Systems Engineering team, serving as the primary authority on Reliability-Centered Maintenance and Through-Life Support. Your objective is to ensure that all design choices made by the team are grounded in a comprehensive understanding of the submarine lifecycle. You will offer critical insights to assist the team in developing resilient and efficient support systems that endure over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing guidance to mitigate risks associated with future artefact generation.
- Ensuring that the team recognizes the potential of Model-Based Definition.
- Incorporating all essential Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements into the design process.
Required Qualifications:
Essential:
- A degree in Systems Engineering or equivalent substantial experience.
- A robust background in Systems Engineering, with a thorough understanding of its terminology and principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
Desirable:
- Experience with Enterprise Architect tools.
- Familiarity with Support Engineering methodologies.
- Relevant professional accreditation or certification.
