Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software solutions for our missile systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software solutions for embedded systems using C, C++, and Linux.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components and ensure seamless system operation.
  • Develop and maintain Linux kernel configurations and test software for embedded systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of software quality and reliability.
  • Work closely with hardware engineers to ensure software-hardware integration and troubleshoot issues.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in software engineering, with experience in C, C++, and Linux.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Knowledge of software design principles and experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and Hypervisors.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to design and implementation decisions.
  • Experience with software development for Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) hardware.
