Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer

Randstad Technologies Ltd is a leading specialist recruitment business for the IT & Engineering industries. We are currently seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in Bristol.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to design, implement, and test software for embedded systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded programming, experience with microcontrollers, and a solid understanding of electronics and other relevant subject areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement software for embedded systems, including communication protocols, control algorithms, and new features.
  • Work with the digital team to put in place and support software qualification tools and processes.
  • Implement and support test scripts and process automations.
  • Collaborate with the product verification team during hardware bring up and initial testing.
  • Plan work and monitor progress towards delivery milestones.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in embedded programming.
  • Proven ability to develop and debug embedded software.
  • Familiarity with software version control systems.
  • Understanding of embedded systems using microcontrollers and their peripherals.
  • Understanding of electronics and other subject areas relevant to embedded systems.
