Mobile HGV Technician Opportunity

Kemp Recruitment is seeking to add several mobile HGV technicians to its team due to increased business levels. As a mobile HGV technician, you will be based from home and cover the Stoke and surrounding areas.

Duties of the Mobile HGV Technician:
  • Perform routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on a variety of trucks and commercial vehicles.
  • Conduct visual or operational checks to locate worn, dirty, or maladjusted parts.
  • Carry out technical inspections using diagnostic techniques to find and repair defective machine parts, components, or systems using test equipment.
  • Undertake thorough inspections of accident-damaged machines and produce accurate reports for repair.
  • Work on customer sites with or without available workshop facilities.
Experience and Skills Required:
  • Previous experience working on heavy goods vehicles.
  • Prior mobile HGV technician experience is beneficial.
  • UK valid driving license.
Benefits:

The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary of £40,000 basic, plus benefits including a van, fuel card, mobile phone, paid door-to-door service, and overtime paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate. Additionally, the company offers pension contributions, death-in-service insurance, and an annual salary payment.
