Key Responsibilities:- To lead and manage a team of administrators to ensure the timely management of all administrative tasks associated with bookings, pre-op assessment, and admissions.
- To adhere to HR policies and procedures within the Outpatient Appointments, including managing sickness, annual leave, and underperformance management.
- To carry out quality assessments regularly and provide feedback to the team.
- To plan the workforce in line with activity and ensure the timely management of all administrative tasks.
- To ensure all necessary spreadsheets, systems, and processes are updated throughout the working day.
- To provide data to the Patient Admissions Manager, Director of Shared Services, SMT, and HoDs as required.
- To attend and contribute to regular departmental meetings and keep up to date on all hospital/support centre matters relating to patient administration.
- To support other staff in the performance of their duties and establish good working relationships with colleagues and other Spire Healthcare staff.
- To attend training events and meetings to acquire knowledge and skills that have been identified as making the post holder particularly successful.
