Traffic Management Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Area Manager- Rail to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that traffic management legislative requirements are met by contractors across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assure traffic management legislative requirements are met by contractors across Main Works Civils, Enabling Works, Utilities, Stations, and Rail Systems.
- Provide liaison and coordination between HS2's contractors and local highway authorities on traffic and transport matters.
- Ensure contractors provide appropriate documentation, plans, drawings, and implementation programs.
- Manage supplier contracts on behalf of the Project Client, Senior Project Managers, and the HS2 NEC3 Project Manager.
- Provide specialist advice within the Integrated Project Team (IPT) to fulfill clearly defined HS2 accountabilities of scope delivery, budget, time, and quality parameters.
- Undertake a risk-based approach to the assurance of traffic management and temporary highway schemes for the works while maintaining standards of health and safety.
Requirements:
- Experience in the design of general traffic management, particularly safety schemes.
- Knowledge of temporary traffic management standards, including Traffic Signs Manual Chapter 8.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
