Traffic Management Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Traffic Management Officer to support our Roads Policing Unit in reducing casualties and achieving force targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent police interests at pre-contract and traffic management meetings with local authorities and engineers.
- Attend traffic management progress meetings in connection with roadworks.
- Respond to proposals from the Highway Authority for Road Traffic Regulation Orders.
- Respond to complaints from members of the public regarding highway matters.
- Provide advice on roadworks and police supervision.
- Attend meetings on Casualty Reduction and Traffic Management.
- Collaborate with Traffic Management companies and authorities to ensure road network safety.
Requirements: Educated to QCF Level 2 or equivalent, with considerable experience in Casualty Reduction and Traffic Management. Proficient in inputting and retrieving data from databases.
