**Job Summary**

Kandhu Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced HR Assistant to join our team in a food manufacturing business. As an HR Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of HR activity and managing the day-to-day activities of Human Resources.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist with communicating, training, and ensuring compliance of all Human Resource policies and procedures
  • General daily HR-related administration duties and provide support and advice to employees on company policies, compensation, and benefits, and other queries
  • Process documentation and prepare employee correspondence for any formal or contractual employee changes
  • Manage absenteeism, including reporting, return to work interview process, and corrective actions where needed
  • Process holiday and absence requests, lieu days, bereavement, and dependency leave
  • Managing employee files to ensure compliance, including the right to work

**Requirements**

  • Background in HR as an HR administrator or Officer
  • CIPD qualified or to degree standard
  • Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher

**Ideal Candidate**

We are looking for someone with experience in HR who can hit the ground running from day one. This is a fast-paced manufacturing site, and ideally, we need someone from a food or FMCG business.
