We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Safeguarding Specialist to join our team at the Wales Medicines Strategy Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of adults at risk.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and support to our staff on safeguarding adults at risk, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.
- Monitor the quality and effectiveness of our safeguarding practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Collaborate with our Safeguarding Trainer to develop and deliver training programs for our staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to protect adults at risk.
- Contribute to the development of strategic and operational policies, procedures, and protocols to support our safeguarding efforts.
- Work closely with our multi-agency partners to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding adults at risk.
- Registered Nurse with a Master's degree or equivalent.
- Proven experience in training and development, with a focus on safeguarding adults at risk.
- Expertise in working within a multi-agency framework, with a strong understanding of partner agencies and their roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address safeguarding concerns.
