About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Rotational Physiotherapist to join our team at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Rotational Physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to work across various clinical specialities, including Musculoskeletal outpatients, stroke, neurology, medical services, rehabilitation, and paediatrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate as a member of the Physiotherapy Team managing a clinical caseload with the support and guidance of Senior Physiotherapists.
  • Conduct physiotherapy assessments and interventions to Service Users in a rotation programme.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Supervise physiotherapy assistants on a day-to-day basis.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy (includes pending for current students).
  • HCPC registration (includes pending for current students).
  • Member of CSP (desirable).

We offer a comprehensive preceptorship programme aligned to the National Preceptorship Framework for Nursing and have been awarded the Interim quality mark from NHS England. Our programme is provided to all Newly Qualified; Nurses, Nursing Associates, Internationally Educated Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals, and Return to Practice Practitioners. In addition to the programme, we also offer all preceptees the opportunity of enrolling and completing the level 7 (Masters) 15 credit validated module Preceptorship for Healthcare (AP7026).

Newly qualified Social Workers are offered the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment programme (ASYE) which is similar to a preceptorship programme.
