Job Title: GCSE Tutor for Students with Special Educational Needs in English and Maths

We are seeking a skilled GCSE tutor to work with students who require additional support in English and Maths due to their Special Educational Needs (SEN). The ideal candidate will have experience in creating tailored learning plans and adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans for students with SEN
  • Provide expert tuition in English and Maths, focusing on GCSE exam preparation
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a collaborative learning environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students who have SEN
  • Strong knowledge of the English and Maths GCSE curriculum

Working Conditions:

  • Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
  • May involve working in students' homes or participating in remote tutoring sessions
