Job Summary:

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Bank Catering Assistant to join our team at Maes-Y-Wennol. As a key member of our catering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of care and nutrition for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the chef in food preparation and presentation to meet the nutritional needs of residents.
  • Independently prepare hot meals and sandwiches for residents, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Load and unload the dishwasher, wash up equipment, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Collect and distribute crockery, clear tea trolleys, and empty kitchen rubbish.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a catering or food service role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
