Shaw Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bank Catering Assistant to join our team at Llys Hafren. As a valued member of our catering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care through the provision of nutritious and delicious meals.

About the Role

As a Bank Catering Assistant, you will work under the direction of the Cook to assist with food preparation, independently prepare hot meals and sandwiches for residents, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading the dishwasher, washing up equipment, and collecting and distributing crockery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist chef with food preparation and presentation
  • Independently prepare hot meals and sandwiches for residents, ensuring nutritional needs are met
  • Load and unload dishwasher, wash up equipment, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Collect and distribute crockery, and clear tea trolleys as required
  • Empty kitchen rubbish and maintain a tidy workspace
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Policy and Regulations
