About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant in Manchester. This role involves providing tailored support to children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Responsibilities
  • To provide one-to-one support to students with SEND, assisting them in their learning and development.
  • To implement behaviour plans and work with teachers to tailor support to individual student needs.
  • To communicate effectively with students, parents, and teaching staff to ensure seamless support.
Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic and resilient individual with a passion for supporting children and young people with SEND. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working with children and young people with SEND.
  • An empathetic and patient approach to supporting students' learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and effectively in a team.
  • Able to obtain or already hold an Enhanced DBS certificate.
