Job Title: SENDCo Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SENDCo Lead to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a SENDCo Lead, you will be responsible for leading the provision for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a SEMH school that supports 15 pupils.

About the Role:
  • Lead and manage the provision for children with SEND
  • Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement effective support strategies
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practices
  • Promote a culture of inclusion and high expectations for all students

We are a Good Ofsted-rated school with a short walk from Ilford station. This role also offers a permanent placement for the right candidate.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status and relevant educational degree (NASENCO)
  • Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and current educational trends
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice
