Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Moran Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our warehouse operations, ensuring that we achieve our operational and financial targets while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Management: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the warehouse team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring that stock is properly stored, handled, and rotated.
  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed, and that the warehouse is maintained in a clean and safe condition.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all products are handled and stored in accordance with company standards.
  • Cost Control:
  • Manage and control costs associated with warehouse operations, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis to management on warehouse performance, including key metrics such as inventory turnover, stock levels, and labor productivity.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a warehouse management or operations role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. logistics, supply chain management) preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of warehouse staff. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in inventory management software a plus.
  • Certifications: BRC and Food Safety experience required; HACCP qualification preferred.
