Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Build Recruitment Limited. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct site visits to gather data and information for tender enquiries.
  2. Prepare and submit monthly valuations and accounts, ensuring all necessary documentation is received promptly.
  3. Ensure that rates agreed for sub-contracted work cover all necessary safety requirements.
  4. Provide clients with cost estimates for additional work.
  5. Assist in completing contract performance assessment forms upon project completion.
Essential Skills/Knowledge:
  1. Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector.
  2. Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying.
  3. Full driving licence.
  4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Fully proficient in computer use, with experience in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  6. Ability to establish strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Package:
  1. Salary: £50,000 + vehicle allowance.
  2. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (1-hour lunch break).
  3. Holiday entitlement: 21 days per year, plus bank holidays and Christmas closure.
  4. Birthday day off.
  5. Company-provided phone for business purposes.
Additional Information:
  1. A DBS check will be conducted at the company's expense.
  2. Must be eligible to work in the UK.
  3. Six-month probationary period applies.
  4. An aptitude test will be required during the interview stage.
