Quantity Surveyor - Islington - Property Services Contractor - £50,000 Quantity Surveyor required to work with medium sized property services contractor delivering planned maintenance social housing projects in Islington. Key Responsibilities: Price tender enquiries by visiting sites, taking condition survey photographs, and carrying out measurements as needed. Prepare and submit monthly valuations and accounts, ensuring all documentation for variations is received promptly. Ensure that the rates agreed for sub-contracted work cover all necessary safety requirements. Provide clients with cost estimates for any additional work. Upon completion of projects, assist in completing contract performance assessment forms. Essential Skills/Knowledge: Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector. Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying. Full driving licence. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Fully proficient in computer use, with experience in Word, Outlook, and Excel. Capable of establishing strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Package: Salary: £50,000 + vehicle allowance. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (1-hour lunch break). Holiday entitlement: 21 days per year, plus bank holidays and Christmas closure. Birthday day off. Company-provided phone for business purposes. Additional Information: A DBS check will be conducted at the company's expense. Must be eligible to work in the UK. Six-month probationary period applies. An aptitude test will be required during the interview stage.
