Electrical Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Design Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Energy UK Limited.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing control systems, including cubicle design, hardware integration, and cable management. You will also collaborate with colleagues to prepare design specifications, overview diagrams, and concept clarifications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control & protection panel design (CRP) and experience working with HVDC projects. Familiarity with CAD tools such as Engineering Base or Ruplan is an asset.
This is a full-time role that requires on-site work, with opportunities for travel abroad to participate in building power stations around the world.
Salary Estimate: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
