", "The General Counsel will be responsible for advising the University on all matters that may have significant legal implications, legal risk, compliance, and policy. This will include leading and advising on all legal matters arising from the activities of the University and its group, including governance, commercial, contracting, research, employment, and student matters.
", "The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker who can provide expert legal advice and guidance to the University's senior executive and Council. They will also be responsible for leading and managing the in-house Legal Services Team, inspiring high performance to ensure the provision of effective and efficient legal support.
", "Key responsibilities will include leading and advising on all legal matters, supporting the University Council and senior executive from a legal perspective, leading and managing the Legal Services Team, and being responsible for the supervision of members of the team.
", "The successful candidate will also be responsible for the procurement and management of external legal services when required, and for the management of the legal budget and resources within their role.
