We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in a leading mental health hospital in the Warrington, Cheshire area. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with complex mental health needs.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry, with experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and developing therapeutic milieus. You will be responsible for taking clinical responsibility for patients, including multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk reviews, and strategic reviews. You will also be expected to contribute to management meetings and clinical governance meetings for the services provided at the hospital.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current developments in psychiatry and other aspects of mental health. You will be expected to have a substantial knowledge of change management, relevant legislation, and contemporary issues in mental health. Previous Consultant experience in a management role is highly desirable.

The successful Consultant Psychiatrist will receive a competitive salary and a range of benefits, including a car allowance, annual leave, and a Group Personal Pension Plan. You will also have the opportunity to work in a clinically led environment and contribute to the development of service strategy.
