Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake specialist assessment, formulation, care planning, and interventions with service users experiencing complex needs and presenting problems.
  • Work independently on own initiative while utilizing clinical supervision systems to maintain safe and effective practice.
  • Provide consultation to other professional and non-professional groups, utilizing your expertise in psychology to inform and support decision-making.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring that our services are delivered in accordance with best practice and regulatory requirements.
Person Specification
  • Doctoral level training in a professional area of psychology, conferring HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist.
  • Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialized areas of psychological practice.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with a wide variety of service user groups, including those with complex needs and presenting problems.
  • Formal training in clinical supervision and experience of supervision of junior psychological staff and/or other disciplines.
  • Experience of teaching and training, with a proven ability to communicate complex information effectively to diverse audiences.
