We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic and friendly psychology team. As a Band 7/8a Practitioner Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to our service users, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver effective care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake specialist assessment, formulation, care planning, and interventions with service users experiencing complex needs and presenting problems.
- Work independently on own initiative while utilizing clinical supervision systems to maintain safe and effective practice.
- Provide consultation to other professional and non-professional groups, utilizing your expertise in psychology to inform and support decision-making.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring that our services are delivered in accordance with best practice and regulatory requirements.
- Doctoral level training in a professional area of psychology, conferring HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist.
- Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialized areas of psychological practice.
- Demonstrated experience in working with a wide variety of service user groups, including those with complex needs and presenting problems.
- Formal training in clinical supervision and experience of supervision of junior psychological staff and/or other disciplines.
- Experience of teaching and training, with a proven ability to communicate complex information effectively to diverse audiences.
