Head of Supply Chain Opportunity

BioTalent is partnering with a leading biopharmaceutical organization to find a seasoned Head of Supply Chain to drive strategic growth and excellence.

We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a proven track record in managing complex supply chain functions, including material supply, warehousing, and inventory management.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in planning, budgeting, and resource allocation, with expertise in SAP and other planning tools. They will also have experience working in a highly regulated environment and be able to navigate changing business demands and circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the supply chain function, ensuring seamless integration with site activities and projects.
  • Lead the implementation of SAP to support and optimize the planning process, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to drive business growth and excellence, leveraging commercial awareness and cost management expertise.
  • Provide input and expertise on future site development activities, ensuring supply chain and logistics considerations are integrated into strategic planning.
  • Contribute to the global supply chain transformation, driving innovation and best practices across the organization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, influencing decisions and driving business outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading the supply chain function in a highly regulated environment.
  • Expertise in SAP and other planning tools, with a strong understanding of supply chain and logistics principles.
  • Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills, with the ability to drive business growth and excellence.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate changing business demands and circumstances, with a focus on delivering results-driven solutions.
