About the Role

Main Developer clients are seeking a highly skilled Technical Coordinator to join their UK Construction Special Projects Division.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3-4 years of experience in the industry, with a strong understanding of RC frames, groundworks, and M&E in residential projects.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the technical role on various sized projects, and sometimes multiple projects at the same time
  • Quality management
  • Produce design reports to help monitor progress
  • Take part in site meetings, and chair design meetings
  • Promote and maintain professional relations with the client, consultants, adjoining owners, residents, subcontractors, and representatives from statutory authorities
  • Ability to prioritize, negotiate, motivate, and communicate in order to ensure that the required objectives are met
  • Review and critique drawing information continuously throughout the project
Qualifications and Skills
  • Relevant Degree or diploma in industry related field, or working towards a degree
  • Must have experience working for developers, ideally high rise residential mixed use schemes
  • Experience of assisting with coordinating and managing the design team
  • Be able to oversee multiple packages and manage the package through the technical process
