Job Title: Parenting Assessment Manager - Social Worker

Location: Market Harborough

Salary: Up to £47,000

Hours: Full-time

The Role:

Vetro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Social Worker to manage the daily running and supervision of our client's Parenting Assessment Centre. The successful candidate will oversee a team of social workers, prioritizing long-term support for vulnerable families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of up to 3 families, providing comprehensive support in all aspects of parenting.
  • Complete assessments and reports within deadlines, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Chair meetings and maintain positive relationships with involved professionals and agencies, promoting collaborative working practices.
  • Lead specific parenting programs, focusing on life skills and parenting techniques.
  • Provide statements and court evidence when necessary, demonstrating expertise in specialist PAM's assessments and psychodynamic frameworks.
  • Handle referrals and facilitate placement planning meetings, ensuring seamless transitions for families.
  • Work towards achieving and sustaining positive outcomes for children and families in their communities, aligning with National Standards and Regulations.
  • Fulfill statutory duties, possessing a solid understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
The Successful Candidate:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker who:

  • Holds a degree or equivalent in social work.
  • Has experience of managing or supervising social workers, with a proven track record of success.
  • Maintains current SWE registration.
  • Demonstrates expertise in specialist PAM's assessments and psychodynamic frameworks.
  • Shows proficiency in parenting programs and safeguarding practices.
  • Exhibits confidence in providing court evidence.
