We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Care UK. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of care for our residents. Your leadership skills will be essential in supervising and managing your shift, fostering a positive and respectful environment for our residents and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and supervising your shift with confidence and poise
  • Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to create and deliver tailored care plans
  • Administering and recording medication with precision and accuracy
  • Conducting risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Collaborating with care assistants to support residents with daily needs, promoting independence and activity
  • Working closely with our leadership team to develop and enhance our services

About You:

  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care is desirable
  • You possess exceptional organizational and IT skills, with the ability to allocate and delegate work effectively
  • Proven experience in leading and supervising others, with a strong understanding of care planning processes
  • Able to manage medication administration and training
  • Above all, a natural ability to make a positive impact on the lives of others
