Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Mercure Liverpool Atlantic Tower Hotel. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the effective operational management of the hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel meets its revenue and guest satisfaction targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the hotel management team and team members to ensure targets are met and exceeded
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve guest satisfaction and revenue
  • Manage and develop the Heads of Department to ensure career progression and effective succession planning
  • Ensure that costs are controlled throughout the operational departments and results are analysed regularly to highlight problem areas and take appropriate action
  • Comply and exceed hotel and company Service Standards
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in hotel operations management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
