About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team at Priory Group. As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans to support individuals with challenging behaviours
  • Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop behaviour support plans
  • Provide training and support to staff on PBS principles and practices
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement behaviour support plans
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of PBS plans and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Hold a BSc in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy
  • Hold a formal qualification in Positive Behaviour Support, such as PBS BTEC (Advanced Professional Diploma)
  • A full driver's license
Desirable Criteria
  • Board Certified Behaviour Analyst status and/or MSc in Analysis and Intervention in Learning Disability
  • Willingness to work towards instructor level in PROACT SCIPr-UK
