Aerospace Engineering Career Path

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in aerospace manufacturing and engineering.

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality components using various machines such as milling, turning, and grinding machines.

The apprentice will spend time attending In-Comm Training Centre in Telford learning basic engineering skills and then on-site putting their learning into practice with our skilled engineers.

  • Producing Components using Hand Fitting Techniques
  • Preparing and Using Milling Machines
  • Producing CAD Models (drawings) using a CAD system
  • Producing Engineering Project Plans
  • Preparing and Using CNC Machining Centres
  • General Welding Applications
  • Complying with Statutory Regulations Organisation Safety Requirements
Apprenticeship Details

This apprenticeship will be delivered over 3 years, with the apprentice required to attend the training provider full-time for the first 12 months and then one day a week for the remainder of the apprenticeship.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
