Job Title: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the site engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide electrical and mechanical support and knowledge on all production lines.
  • Equipment testing, fault finding, and repair.
  • PLC fault finding and repair using Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
  • Develop and implement effective planned preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other plant engineers and team leaders to optimize maintenance routines.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and work in a safe manner.
  • Contribute to the planning, controlling, and overseeing of daily routines and inspections.
  • Implement a total quality approach across the site.
Requirements:
  • Time-served and qualified in an electrical/mechanical field.
  • Good knowledge of PLC fault finding through I/O's and laptop diagnostics.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a multiskilled technician.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in food/drink or packaging is advantageous.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive base salary of circa £50,000, with overtime opportunities to increase salary to over £55,000.
