Maintenance Technician

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the site engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide electrical and mechanical support and knowledge on all production lines.
- Equipment testing, fault finding, and repair.
- PLC fault finding and repair using Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
- Develop and implement effective planned preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other plant engineers and team leaders to optimize maintenance routines and achieve maximum machine availability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and work in a safe manner.
- Contribute to the planning, controlling, and overseeing of daily routines and inspections.
- Implement a total quality approach across the site.
- Time-served and qualified in an electrical/mechanical field.
- Good knowledge of PLC fault finding through I/O's and laptop diagnostics.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a multiskilled technician.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in food/drink or packaging an advantage.
A competitive base salary of circa £50,000, with overtime opportunities to increase salary to over £55,000.
