Education Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Support Professional to join our team at The Grange Therapeutic School, part of Acorn Education. As an integral member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal growth of our students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a unique therapeutic environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth. You will be responsible for providing individualized support to students in lessons, around the school grounds, and during activities and trips. Your expertise will help promote safeguarding, pupil welfare, and positive behavior management, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in lessons and around the school site
- Participate in activities on and off-site
- Collaborate with teachers and instructors to deliver lessons and activities
- Contribute to promoting safeguarding and pupil welfare
- Manage and record behavior when necessary
- Maintain a well-organized classroom environment, including displays
- Liaise with tutors and family support
- Support behavior management and student welfare through 1:1 or small group sessions
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- GCE C/4 or above in English and Maths or equivalent
- Experience working with pupils
