About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Beach Lawns Residential and Nursing Home. As a key member of our catering team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and excellent service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present meals to a high standard, adhering to relevant food hygiene legislation
  • Serve meals to residents in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and dignity for all residents and colleagues
Requirements
  • Previous catering experience is desirable, but not essential
  • A food hygiene certificate is an advantage
  • An understanding of safe food storage and cleaning practices is essential
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required
  • A genuine passion for working with older people and their needs is essential
