About the Role

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our Booking Team as a Senior Booking Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and undertaking a full range of administration and scheduling processes for Booked Admissions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and undertaking administration and scheduling processes for Booked Admissions
  • Ensuring appropriate day-to-day management of waiting lists to ensure theatre and clinic capacity is filled
  • Providing support and guidance to other booking officers to ensure a quality service is delivered
  • Supervising and training new members of staff as required

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Experience in a similar role or relevant administration experience
