Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Alfanar Projects in Teesside. This critical role will involve applying engineering expertise within controls & instrumentation projects, with indirect people management responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage various types of projects, including installation and modifications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Plan, root cause analysis, and continuous improvements to optimize plant performance.
  • Work with contractors and OEM suppliers, including work permits, RAMS, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Lead technical teams in troubleshooting technical problems, focusing on root cause analysis.
  • Analyze data to compile engineering reports and improve OEE and engineering downtime.
  • Support shutdowns, planned and unplanned, and provide on-call support.
Requirements
  • HNC/HND or Degree qualified in a relevant field.
  • Extensive industrial plant/process industry experience.
  • Experience with full industrial process control instrumentation systems, including pressure, level, flow, and temperature.
  • Experience working with Delta V, Modbus, CIO, and Charms.SIS.
  • Working with maintenance systems, such as SAP and MAXIMO.
  • Commissioning experience on a large plant.
