Job Opportunity

Lighthouse Green Fuels, a subsidiary of Alfanar Energy UK, is seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team. As part of our Advanced Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) project, this role will play a critical part in the development of our first-of-its-kind technology.

About the Role

  • This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to work on a large-scale industrial project.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various types of projects, including installation and modifications, and will have indirect people management responsibility.
  • Key responsibilities will include planning, root cause analysis, continuous improvements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • The engineer will work closely with contractors and OEM suppliers, including managing work permits, RAMS, and other safety protocols.
  • They will also be responsible for analysing data to compile engineering reports and improving OEE and engineering downtime.
  • Support for shutdowns, planned and unplanned, will also be a key aspect of the role.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will hold a HNC/HND or Degree qualification in a relevant field.
  • They will have extensive experience in the industrial plant/process industry, with a strong background in full industrial process control instrumentation systems.
  • Experience with Delta V, Modbus, CIO, Charms.SIS, and working with maintenance systems such as SAP and MAXIMO will be highly valued.
  • Commissioning experience on a large plant is also essential.
